| Best use | Ideal for a small team that wants runbooks, product decisions, and system documentation on its own server with live editing, search, and page history. It is not a fit for teams that want zero server operations or expect SSO and granular page permissions in the free edition. | For developers and small teams that want architecture and data-flow diagrams close to the repository and reviewable as text. Use it when relationships matter more than pixel-perfect placement; not for free-form marketing design or exact manual positioning. | For developers reviewing features as small changes and revisiting earlier steps. Start with a separate practice clone to learn working copies and Bookmarks; delay team adoption until compatibility with required Git tooling is checked. |
